CLASS OF 2017 ORIENTATION

 August 21, 2013:  Lincoln, Nebraska

ALL UNL PPVM students are required to attend an one-day Orientation with your UNL classmates on the UNL Campus on Wednesday, August 21, 2013.  Details will be available soon.

August 22-23, 2013:  Ames, Iowa

ALL UNL PPVM students are required to attend an one-day Orientation at Iowa State University on Friday, August 23, 2013 in addition to the required Orientation activities at UNL. 

You also have the option to participate in optional Team Building activities at ISU on Thursday, August 22, 2013.  This is a great way to get to know your classmates and develop your leadership and communications skills.

You are invited to the Fall Orientation Picnic at ISU, sponsored by OTS (Omega Tau Sigma Veterinary Fraternity).  Please feel free to bring your spouse, family, etc.  The picnic is the evening of Thursday, August 22nd.   If you need lodging that night, arrangements can be made to help you find a student to stay with.  Please click here to view the letter from SCAVMA inviting you to the August 22nd activities.

April 15, 2013  Deadline to accept your position and pay the $250 deposit (postmark date)

May 11, 2013  UNL MMR Immunication Documents deadline

July 1, 2013  Spring 2013 official transcripts due (postmark date)

Spring 2013 official transcripts for ALL college-level coursework (undergraduate, graduate and continuing education) must be sent directly to the College of Veterinary Medicine at Iowa State University.

October 19, 2013  Rabies Vaccination Clinic (Immunization 2 of 3), 9 to 11 am

October 21 and 22, 2013  UNL Fall Break, no classes, UNL offices open

November 9, 2013  Rabies Vaccination Clinic (Immunization 3 of 3), 9 to 11 am

November 27, 2013  UNL Thanksgiving Break, no classes, UNL offices open
